An Autoresponder is a special kind of sofware script which allows a website to send out a series of email messages to people who have requested them, according to the time delay that the owner of the autoresponder has set up

To take a simple example - suppose you had an autoresponder loaded with 10 messages that you had set to be sent out once per week, to verified members

In this case when someone filled in a web form on your website, with their name and email address, then they would receive your 10 email messages once per week depending on the date when they first requested your information. If they first requested the information on a friday, then each email message would be sent to them on a friday, until the 10 messages had finished

Now with a list of 7,000 members, instead of 5 EXTRA people a day coming to your website by clicking on links in your emails - you now have an EXTRA 500 people coming to your website every day - and all for FREE
